Hello — I’m Esther.

I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in Geelong, working up and down the Victorian coast and into the Otways. I came to photography the long way round — a decade in darkrooms and on film sets before I realised the pictures I cared most about were the ones nobody had asked me to take.

I shoot quietly. I’d rather you forget I’m there than perform for me. The result is a gallery that feels like the day actually felt — warm, a little imperfect, unmistakably yours.

How I work

01 — Light first

I plan around the sun, not the schedule. The best frames almost always come in the hour before it drops.

02 — Unhurried

No stiff posing marathons. A little direction, a lot of space, and room for the day to be itself.

03 — Crafted, not churned

Every image is hand-edited to a consistent, filmic look. Galleries delivered in 4–6 weeks, print-ready.
